Opportunity for a full-time, Non-Tenure-track faculty position in Electrical Engineering/ Manufacturing Engineering/ general Engineering for programs that emphasize practical applications of engineering principles in the areas of Mechatronics, Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Computer Engineering Technology and Aeronautics. Position to begin August 2018.

Position requirements include the development and teaching of coursework in at least two of the three areas of Electronics, Manufacturing and Quality, and Hydraulics. Knowledge and expertise in areas including, but not limited to, Electrical Engineering, fluids, mechanics (statics and dynamics), quality, and manufacturing. Will assist in developing undergraduate and graduate curricula that provide courses that are essential to students in Mechatronics, Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Computer Engineering Technology and Aeronautics in accordance with ABET accreditation criteria.

It is preferred that applicants have experience in developing and organizing laboratory experiments especially in electronics, and/or hydraulics, or related areas. Will be expected to work cooperatively with a diverse student population and with faculty colleagues on college and university-wide committees. Research is not required of non-tenure-track faculty members, but an interest in being active in a research area that overlaps current areas will be viewed favorably.

Qualifications: Applicants must have, at a minimum, a Master's degree and have relevant industrial experience, in Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or a closely related discipline prior to starting this position. A Ph.D. in one of the above areas is strongly preferred, and applicants with a Ph.D. will receive favorable consideration.
