A Senior Systems Engineer is needed to support the NextGen Guidance Section development as part of Hellfire Tango. The ideal candidate would have a desire to support requirements development as well as integration, test and verification as the program progresses.

The position includes performing tasks including subsystem level requirements decomposition and traceability, technical trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.

Knowledge and application of DOORS, comfortable with developing System Reqts Analysis and Functional/Physical Architecture products, willing to transition to test plan and procedure documentation, execution, and reporting of results, and be involved with trouble-shooting integration problems, organize and conduct internal Engineering Review Boards, facilitate and conduct internal and external briefings and reviews, manage program action items and customer interface requirements.

This job will require working seamlessly with customers, subcontractors, program management, design community, and procurement. This position will require the candidate to grow with the program extending into the integration, testing and verification of components, subsystems and the system

In support of the effort, the candidate will support all of the following tasks:
-Assessment of new mission vs. old JAGM requirements
-Facilities test setup & missile integration support
-Support AMSTAR in updating IR portion of HWIL
-DVT Test Planning (Test Plans/Procedures/Reviews)
-Perform DVT Performance Testing (MTF/NEDT/Noise/Dynamic Range)
-Perform DVT Environmental Testing (PFCT plus additional profiles of concern)
-Software SIL Testing / Aircraft Integration
-Support of Tower Test Demos for Customer
-Flight Test Planning (Test Plans/Procedures/Reviews)
-Support Readiness reviews and Flight test events – AMSTAR, PFCT, Flight Test


Basic Qualifications
-Demonstrated EO integration and test experience

-Familiarity with lab integration tools, test equipment and procedures

-Familiarity with integration and test processes

-Demonstrated skill generating high-quality test plans, procedures and requirements

-Demonstrated Integration and Test experience in the full system development lifecycle

-Demonstrated knowledge of weapon systems, ICDs, and airworthiness certification

-Formal field testing experience on complex programs

Must have an interim secret clearance prior to start

Desired skills
-Prior experience leading or being a significant technical contributor for programs with aggressive schedules in a dynamic customer environment

-Prior experience presenting at Senior Management and Customer technical/readiness reviews (Mission Success, TRR, FRR)

-Prior experience leading or participating in the Failure Review Board process

-Demonstrated solid communication and technical leadership skills

-Experience with hardware/software integration in both lab and field environment

-Experience with the JAGM/Hellfire product line
