Lockheed Martin has an excellent opportunity within our Corporate Information Security team in our office located in Denver, CO, US, for a network security engineering senior level position reporting to the Lockheed Martin Corporate Information Security, Information Assurance Engineering Manager.

This Information Assurance Engineer senior level position works for Lockheed Martin Enterprise Business Services (EBS), Corporate Information Security, Intelligence and Operations (EBS, CIS, I&O) directly supporting all Lockheed Martin's unclassified business areas. As an integral member of the Lockheed Martin team you will benefit from our individualized learning opportunities and gain access to new and emerging technologies within an intellectual working environment

The primary responsibility of this position is to provide hands-on, 7 X 24 X 365 operational capabilities to the Lockheed Martin network security infrastructure across the globe. Operations activities include successfully maintaining network security appliances, perimeter security systems and security controls, along with the associated documentation, diagrams and procedures

Basic Qualifications
= Good working knowledge of Firewall technologies
= Demonstrated IP Networking experience
= Ability to work a flexible, off hours schedule to accommodate customer maintenance windows
= Willingness to carry an on-call cell phone after hours
= Ability to obtain a DOD Secret level clearance
= Bachelors degree from an accredited college in math, computer science, physics, information assurance or engineering

Desired skills
= Check Point, Cisco, Palo Alto Networks or Juniper Firewall experience
= Experience with Unix/Linux Operating Systems
= Excellent written and verbal communication skills
= Program management experience or PMP certification
= Demonstrated excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
= Demonstrated ability to work successfully in a teaming environment
