Job Details

The selected candidate will be responsible for guiding and leading the Network Infrastructure team in support of the Distributed Mission Training effort. The candidate must have a strong history of demonstrating the full Systems Engineering lifecycle. They must be familiar with IT-centric distributed systems, including information assurance, expandable architecture, cross-domain solutions, and COTS integration. The candidate will be expected to support major design reviews, technical interchange meetings, customer interfacing, and 10-20% travel. They will be responsible for planning the work, based on the SOW/CONOPS, then guiding the team to ensure the efforts align with the established requirements

Basic Qualifications
Must have an engineering degree from ABET-accredited institution with a minimum of 9 years' professional experience (7 years with an additional engineering MS degree)

Must have experience leading a team of multi-disciplined engineers and system administrators to develop complex IT systems. Must have a strong understanding of the Systems Engineering product lifecycle with experience in all phases. Must be have experience establishing requirements baselines, decomposing requirements, building ICDs, and performing integration/test/selloff/acceptance. The candidate must be able to navigate a rigorous change management process to ensure high-quality deliverables and multiple stages. The candidate must be able to travel to participate in technical interchange meetings. The candidate must be familiar with managing data and networks both in classified and unclassified domains

Must be willing to travel 10-20% of the time

Best fit candidates will have familiarity with, and experience with, HLA networks and high-fidelity simulator design. Best candidates will be CSEP via INCOSE. Having Security+ certification is desired

Must have an active Secret (or higher) security clearance. Date of last investigation must be 2012 or later
