Become part of a team of technically strong signal processing, navigation, and multi-disciplinary engineers to analyze and solve complex Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) problems for our government sponsors. The Communications, SIGINT & PNT department is seeking engineers and technical leaders interested in working on difficult and complex technical PNT problems requiring backgrounds that include radio frequency signal processing, satnav receiver hardening and exploitation, end-to-end prototype development, and field test data collection, processing, and analysis.

Key functions for the successful candidate will be to:
perform detailed modeling and simulation of PNT systems and functionality
provide data and theoretical analysis to help develop and apply signal processing algorithms to support PNT assessments and development
help develop system-level assessments for PNT capabilities
learn quickly on the job
interface directly with defense and intelligence community sponsors and other contractors

Required skills
Skills that will be required for this position are:
strong understanding of basic DSP/signal processing concepts and technologies
understanding of PNT principles, including geolocation principles, waveforms and modulation design, signal propagation, and signal detection
ability to develop novel approaches for solving technical problems
good writing and presentation skills
ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment
clear and structured thought processes and coherent decision-making skills
desire to focus on technical and high impact work
software skills in at least one of: Matlab, C++, Java, or Python

Preferred skill
Desired skills for this position include:
MS or PhD in electrical engineering, mathematics, or physics
some leadership skills or experience
familiarity with analysis tools such as STK
experience with satellite navigation systems, receiver design, algorithm development and implementation, applied electronic warfare, Kalman filter implementation, , and/or detection and estimation theory
