We are looking
for highly qualified candidates to provide military intelligence and
operations/intelligence integration subject matter expertise for our sponsors
in organizations such as the Office of the Under Secretary for Defense for
Intelligence (OUSD(I)), the Joint Staff, the Air Force Concept Development and Management
(CDM) Office, the Army G-2, and the Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI).



Our work is
dynamic and of high interest to DoD leadership. MITREs Military Intelligence
Department is focused on: enhancing the DoDs Intelligence, Surveillance, and
Reconnaissance (ISR) capability; modernization of the Nuclear Command and
Control (NC2) enterprise; developing and implementing multinational and
coalition capabilities; assisting in the evolution and integration of the
operations and intelligence communities; building partnerships across government,
industry, and academia; and, helping the government improve services to their
customers.

Key Functions


  • Provide domain and technical
    expertise towards the governments highest priority challenges.
  • Work with government leadership
    to rapidly leverage MITREs diverse expertise towards solving those challenges.
  • Work with government
    leadership to define their strategy and develop their roadmap through a period
    of major government transformation.
  • Demonstrate MITRE
    impact to the government mission through data-driven technical products
    that include actionable recommendations leading to timely government
    decisions.
  • Collaborate by
    bringing outside government, academic, industry, and MITRE expertise to
    bear on government domain challenges.














Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in one of the following disciplines, Electrical,  Computer or Systems Engineering or similar field and 8 years related experience.  The candidate should possess the ability to define projects or programs greater than themselves.    Candidate understands that he/she will be responsible for work and/or customer relationship development and will acts according toand guides others towardthe proper balance of a) product depth with timeliness and b) technical improvements with programmatic constraints, even when hard compromises are required. Preferred candidates will be recognized by senior management as a thought leader.
Required Skills


  • TS/SCI clearance
    (no polygraph required)
  • Success in
    providing sponsors with the data, analysis, and strategies required to
    address critical issues, setting and meeting strategic objectives, and
    advancing short and long-term program goals.
  • History of team
    building, achieve team goals, and growing trust.
  • Being a
    self-starter, creative thinker and able to function inside a dynamic environment,
    with minimal supervision.
  • Broad and diverse
    background in different technical and/or analysis roles, ranging from
    individual contributions to project/ program leadership on complex
    projects.
  • Excellent
    communication skills, both written and verbal. Effective in interacting
    with technical staff, analysts, and operators ranging from junior-level
    contributors to the most senior leaders in the government.
  • Experience in a
    consulting role, advising government, and being diplomatic in advocating
    technology and program directions.
  • 8+ years of
    experience in diverse technical or military intelligence domain roles.

Preferred
Qualifications



Recognized as a
thought leader by MITRE/sponsor leadership. Familiarity with DoD and
intelligence community organizational and governance structures, policy
generation processes, life cycle acquisition processes, and requirements
processes. Experience with:



  • Working and collaborating with senior DoD customers
  • Joint, Service, coalition, and intelligence operations and problem
    sets
  • Coalition and/or multinational operations and systems
  • Developing, integrating, and implementing C4ISR solutions in the
    operational environment

Minimum
Qualifications
:
Bachelors Degree in a technical or national
security field and 8 years related experience in the military intelligence
operational domain.
