This role includes the associate management and leadership responsibilities for the Military Support Programs Design Verification group
The candidate will assist the MSP Systems Engineering management by assuming leadership responsibilities for mechanical design personnel assigned to the MSP Design Verification area. The candidate will be responsible for the verification of satellite system hardware through the full product life-cycle (Design, Build, Test and Integrate), including spacecraft structures, thermal products, harnessing and/or mechanical integration. Specific tasks and responsibilities include the following:
-Verifies solid models using CREO, create/revise detailed drawings and release engineering work products in EPDM (Enterprise Product Data Management)
-Review requirements from various sources (dynamics, stress, systems, thermal, manufacturing, etc.), and ensure that applicable requirements are flowed into the detailed design of the products
-Work effectively in an integrated product team environment
-Work with various programs' management teams, technical leadership, spacecraft design and development teams, subject matter experts, analysis, configuration control, procurement, planning, production, test, and lab engineers to ensure technical requirements and program schedules are met multitask and work well in fast-paced environments
-Manages administrative and personnel needs of the design verification team including: performance monitoring and review

Basic Qualifications
-Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education, with professional experience and specialized training commensurate with assignment
-Extensive Mechanical Design and manufacturing experience.
-Creo modeling/drafting and release experience.
-ASME Y14.5M including GD&T expertise.
-Demonstrated ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary product development teams.
-Excellent Communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
-Ability to manage multiple assignments and customers simultaneously.
-Demonstrated leadership skills and commitment to the development of others

-Data Set Rating 4 or 6 experience
-TS/SCI w/Poly
