Job Details

Weld Process Development and Control. Responsible for the concept, design and documentation of manufacturing tooling and equipment required to effect manufacturing processes IAW production rate requirements. Duties include development of work instructions and tooling and equipment designs from engineering hardware specifications and culminating in complete technical data packages fully defining the tooling/equipment and allowing fabrication of detailed components and assembly of the end item. Process development may include assisting with training of existing weld staff to meet AWS Certifications

The Locale: Camden is a city in southern Arkansas. Camden is located on the Ouachita River, at the end of the navigable river. Camden is about a two hour drive south from Littlerock, AR. Camden is part of the Timberlands region of Arkansas. Timber, Oil, Deer Hunting, Bass fishing... These are words commonly used when people talk about the Timberlands of Arkansas. It's a region with rich natural resources that was discovered by pioneers from the eastern United States in the early 1800s. The abundant natural resources of the Timberlands are still attracting people today. Visitors enjoy the legacy of those pioneers by visiting sites ranging from 1800s log cabins and restored Victorian homes to local museums and colorful murals that tell the history of this land. Communities within an hour or two from Camden include Texarkana, Hot Springs AR, and Shreveport, LA

Basic Qualifications
-BS Mechanical Engineering
-Knowledgeable of Welding/Fitting processes and requirements relative to American Weld Society (AWS) or similar standards
-Knowledgeable of General Manufacturing Processes
-Knowledgeable of Engineering Materials
-Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings
-Knowledgeable of Machine/Tool design especially as related to weld fixturing/tooling
-Must be able to obtain Secret clearance and therefore you must be a US Citizen
-Proficient with MSOffice suite

Desired skills
-Proficiency with welding per AWS or similar standards (previous AWS certification a plus)
-The ability to train welders to meet AWS or similar certification standards.
-Proficiency with Pro-Engineer or comparable CAD System
-Proficiency with ANSI Y14.5 (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
-BS Mechanical Engineering with welding related courses
