-Lockheed Martin Advanced Development Program

Design, analysis, and integration of various subsystem architecture such as; fuel, ECS, Auxiliary power, actuation system, and electrical power for a new aircraft design. Initial sizing and layout of various subsystems with the aircraft using CATIA V5 and update the layout as required. Interface with other disciplines and stakeholders to determine interfaces and horsepower extraction requirements. Experience with design, analysis, integration and development of aircraft subsystems. Experience with the development of performance specification and statement of work (SOW) for vendor selection process. Interface with various suppliers for selection of candidate subsystem hardware. Integrate candidate subsystem hardware with the aircraft using CATIA V5.

Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access

Basic Qualifications
• Experience sizing and creating architectures of various aircraft subsystems (e.g. Fuel, ECS, Auxiliary Power, Actuation, and Electrical Power)

• Experience leading Subsystems teams

• Experience performing design, analysis, integration and development of aircraft subsystems

• Experience writing and negotiating specifications, statement of work (SOW), Request for Information (RFI), and Request for Proposals (RFP) with vendors

• Experience designing systems utilizing 3-D CAD tools

Desired skills
• CATIA V5 experience
• Experience generating subsystem layouts and designs.
• Subsystems modeling and simulation experience utilizing MATLAB/Simulink, AMESim, NPSS, or other modeling software
• Experience leading small teams
• Self motivated and ability to work with nebulous requirements to advance an aircraft design
* Bachelor's or above Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
• Microsoft Office proficiency
• Experience writing proposals
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
