"We seek a systems-oriented mechanical engineer who is passionate about who we work for, the products we provide to support the end user, the warfighter and a desire to grow into a leadership role within the systems team. This position will serve as a member of the MSP Block 3 Program Systems Engineering team in the Special Programs line of business focused on mechanical systems design and integration. The Systems Engineering team is responsible for all aspects of the systems engineering process including: systems integration, system level design, design reviews, technical product reviews and delivery, risk management, requirements and verification, integration and test planning. The position will be a member of the Systems Design and Integration Team for Block 3 to execute the baseline program as well as integrate new capabilities and missions to continuously improve the mission value to our customer

Specific duties to include:
-Mechanical systems integration for various subsystems such as reaction control, thermal control, structures, mechanisms
-Support to mass properties engineer and to perform as delegate
-Provide guidance to the hardware design teams in the design review process
-Ensure rigor is applied to the design and system integration using the review process

Basic Qualifications
Experience with spacecraft development
Requirement development, flow down and/or verification experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
Demonstrated problem solving skills.
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a collaborative and team-based environment.
Current TS/SCI clearance

Desired skills
Experience with integration and test planning, and execution
Experience with reaction control, thermal control. structures, or mechanisms design and test
Experience leading component and subsystem design reviews (PDR, CDR, etc)
Ability to interact with hardware developers to ensure mission requirements are satisfied
Ability to operate in a dynamic environment and take on numerous roles as part of the daily program operations
