Candidate will work in a collaborative environment to develop and deliver the next generation of Mechanical Ground Support Equipment (MGSE) used to support spacecraft processing flow and eliminate high risk activities. The candidate will be required to coordinate with multiple stakeholders and peers to identify and develop requirements and design concepts for successful MGSE implementation. Responsibilities also include supplier coordination, operations support, and hardware non-conformance resolution. The candidate will be accountable for execution of project technical, cost and schedule performance. This position must hold an active SCI clearance

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with 5 years of related experience
Experience in the development of Mechanical Ground Support Equipment (MGSE) used for the integration, test, transport and handling of spacecraft or aerospace hardware.
Solid understanding of mechanical engineering fundamentals including structures, mechanisms, materials and analysis
3D Computer Aided Design experience including modeling, drafting and release proficiency
Experience working with supply chain (procurement, internal/external suppliers, quality…) to drive hardware production through delivery
Working knowledge of ASME Y14.5 including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing
Experience in Assembly, Test and Launch Operations (ATLO) and/or Manufacturing environments
Demonstrated ability to work within multidisciplinary product development teams
Good communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
Ability to support multiple projects, assignments, and customers simultaneously

Desired skills
CREO and PDM experience
Working knowledge of industry standards and federal regulations including ANSI, OSHA, and AWS standards applicable to mechanical and structural systems
Cost Account Management (CAM) (Cost and Schedule) experience/knowledge
Experience in Additive manufacturing
Experience in process improvement development and implementation
