This position is for a materials and processes engineer working in the Fort Worth Materials and Processes Common Services group. Primary program ties will be to the F-35 Program. Job responsibilities will included coordinating M&P support with Production Operations at Fort Worth, and may include Marietta, GA, and foreign co-production, reviewing supplier planning, the creation and maintenance of materials and processes specifications, and assisting in the transitioning of new materials into an existing aircraft production program. In addition, the applicant will be responsible for determining releaseability of technical documents and specifications

Basic Qualifications
Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access

Must able to travel both domestic and internationally

BS In Materials Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering (or equivalent) from an accredited college with 2-3 years professional experience, or no experience required with a related Masters or higher degree

Desired skills
- Prior experience in advanced materials research and selection for design development
- Prior experience working with Livelink data management software
- Prior experience working with PDM/Teamcenter and responding to PDM workflow requests
- Prior experience determining ITAR releaseability for technical data
- Prior experience working with and supporting M&P document control
- Prior experience working with aerospace production operations
- Prior experience creating and overseeing engineering test plans
- Prior experience creating and revising M&P specifications
- Capable of analyzing material constituents to determine whether they are impacted by environmental issues
- Capable of learning and writing Material & Processing proposals
- Capable of working with various database systems used by Material & Processing engineering.
- Applicant must be sufficiently detail oriented to work with various release regulations
