Job Details

Candidate will support the Buellton Site Manager in the execution of contracts for Thin Film (TF) coating materials and processes. Shall develop, document and execute photolithography lab processes including but not limited to, Substrate preparation, Photolithographic patterning steps i.e. application of photoresist, photoresist exposure and pattern, photoresist develop. Document etch-back and liftoff processes. Develop and maintain the plating database used to calculate time and power settings for electrolytic plating (Gold, Copper, and Nickel). Highly motivated person willing to assist in other departments as required and needed

Must be a US Citizen as this position is located at a facility that requires special access

Basic Qualifications
Three plus years experience in a working photolithography lab

Must have experience in photolithography patterning and electrolytic plating.

Must have Experience in substrate preparation including substrate cleaning and preprocess inspection.

Must be able to read and interpret drawings and schematics

Must be able to develop a access database.

Must be able to obtain a secret clearance

Desired skills
Experience with CAD software such AUTOCAD AND OR Solidworks
Able to troubleshoot photolithography equipment and diagnose problems. Electroless plating experience
Must be proficient in M/S Office: M/S Word, Excel, Access, and Powerpoint.
Able to implement new processes and to document processes and train staff.
Ability to perform maintenance on lab equipment
Hands on experience and knowledge of chemicals associated with photolithography processing including selective etching of metals for etch back processes
