This individual will be a Low Observables lead, responsible for the design, analysis, and test activities to ensure signature performance requirements are achieved, and statement of work requirements are satisfied. Leads LO design, analysis, and test specialists, as well as coordination with other IPTs on design and configuration updates with the potential to impact to signature performance. Responsible for coordinating and interfacing regularly with suppliers, customers, other customer technical advisers, and government range test personnel. Responsibility includes managing Low Observables manpower, milestones, IMS, variance reports, etc

Low Observable (LO) Engineers are charged with the task of assuring that IR and RF signatures of weapons and related platforms and subsystems are defined, minimized to specified levels, and controlled through the design, production and fielding phases of development. This requires the performance of design analyses, and related trade studies pertaining to material selection, platform configuration and IR and RF phenomenology. Low signature design solutions are coordinated and managed with the various program disciplines and with associated suppliers. Verification of platform low observable characteristics are achieved via comprehensive RCS testing conducted at both closed indoor ranges and outdoor test facilities

Candidates for LO Engineer positions may have various experience and skill set backgrounds ranging from EO expertise to RF and MMW scattering phenomena. Knowledge of complex low observable design and material technologies is valuable. Specific knowledge of radar absorbing material, paints, seals, and their respective corrosion resistant properties is of interest. Nose and conformal radome design and design awareness of radome, antenna and platform RF interactions is also valuable

Basic Qualifications
Experienced with leading system Radar Cross Section (RCS) design, analysis, and testing through the program lifecycle - Prior experience coordinating complex RCS test programs to verify requirements. – Experience developing the process and methodology for achieving RCS requirements in a production environment including development of coating and test methods

Must have a secret clearance with an investigation within the last 5 years
