Job Details

Provide technical contributions to Low Observable (LO) materials development projects. Report to more senior LO materials engineers for technical direction in the execution of LO materials IRAD/CRAD projects. Act as local subject matter expert for thin film technologies and deposition processes. Compile results and present to both internal and external customers
Security Clearance ** Needed
Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. Secret, Ability to Obtain

Basic Qualifications
Experience in materials science and engineering
Technical experience in nano materials and thin film technology
Experience in a materials laboratory setting, both preparing and evaluating material test samples

Desired skills
Advanced degree in chemical engineering, materials engineering, chemistry, or equivalent field
Experience in flexible polymer/composite systems
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proven ability to organize and analyze large data sets
Desire to grow into project/program manager
