This individual will be a system Low Observables engineer with experience with design, integration, testing, and verification activities associated with the development of complex Low Observable systems. Performs analysis of vehicle and component Radar Cross Section (RCS) predicted performance, including performance trade studies during the program design phase and analysis of measured data during integration. Develops and manages the system signature design budget, coordinating performance specification allocations to internal designs and suppliers. Coordination of complex Low Observable design aspects across functional, integrated product team, program management, and customer organizations

Low Observable (LO) Engineers are charged with the task of assuring that IR and RF signatures of weapons and related platforms and subsystems are defined, minimized to specified levels, and controlled through the design, production and fielding phases of development. This requires the performance of design analyses, and related trade studies pertaining to material selection, platform configuration and IR and RF phenomenology. Low signature design solutions are coordinated and managed with the various program disciplines and with associated suppliers. Verification of platform low observable characteristics are achieved via comprehensive RCS testing conducted at both closed indoor ranges and outdoor test facilities

Candidates for LO Engineer positions may have various experience and skill set backgrounds ranging from EO expertise to RF and MMW scattering phenomena. Knowledge of complex low observable design and material technologies is valuable. Specific knowledge of radar absorbing material, paints, seals, and their respective corrosion resistant properties is of interest. Nose and conformal radome design and design awareness of radome, antenna and platform RF interactions is also valuable

Basic Qualifications
Prior experience with system Radar Cross Section (RCS) design, analysis, and testing through the program lifecycle - Prior experience with utilizing Xpatch and method of moments analysis codes for RCS predictions

Must have a secret clearance with an investigation within the last 5 years
