Job Details

The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering in the School of Engineering at Tufts University invites applications for full-time Lecturer position.

Candidates are sought primarily in the area of Computer Engineering or a closely related field with expertise in topics including, but not limited, to computer architecture, security, MPSoC design, embedded and real-time systems, heterogeneous computing and GPUs, digital logic, programming and data structures. The department is interested in building its offerings of advanced courses for undergraduate seniors and MS students. Thus, a strong command of core undergraduate material as well as expertise in at least one specialized area of computer engineering is necessary.

These are non-tenure-track positions. The initial appointment term will be for three years with the possibility of renewal contingent on annual performance review results.

The ideal candidates will possess prior teaching experience, especially with undergraduate students, and have an engaging teaching style. Candidates are expected to have a graduate degree in electrical or computer engineering or a related field (M.S. with PhD preferred). The candidate must have a strong commitment to teaching and mentoring.
