Seeking a strong candidate who will join the F-35 Logistics team as the Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS) Lead Systems Engineer (LSE). Primary focus will be on supporting program execution and maturing the ALIS Solution. Responsibility encompasses ALIS F-35 Logistics; including Development and Sustainment activities under the F-35 Logistics franchise

In this capacity, the successful candidate will provide strong systems engineering leadership. Tasks include: ensure adequate system trades and analyses are performed, oversee the development of System Architecture, ensure common solutions are implemented across product teams, ensure the quality of engineering work products, ensure accurate requirements allocation, ensure requirements are accurately implemented and verified, assure bi-directional trace of system requirements is performed, support proposal and pre-proposal efforts.

Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing the overall ALIS systems engineering solution, providing process, tools and governance guidance, and optimization of the systems engineering solution. The individual will lead overall objectives by coordinating with technical leadership teams, products teams, scrum teams, and customers and other functional leaders.

This position will provide an opportunity to bring innovative and new ideas that influence the broader Engineering tenets for the ALIS program while aligning activities for efficient and successful systems engineering methodology using AGILE and Model Based engineering techniques. The selected candidate will lead the overall systems engineering lifecycle and execute with close coordination with the other F-35 SEIT members while working with functional leadership to grow the organization in front end systems engineering and product definitions.

The successful candidate must be comfortable working in a fast paced, dynamic environment, and be capable of working at all levels of the organization, internal and external, to manage technical, cost and schedule project objectives related to this area

Basic Qualifications
The desired candidate must have a proven track record of delivering system product in a large development and sustainment concurrent engineering environment; familiarization and experience working under Agile SAFe environment and driving corrective action plans to deliver baseline requirements under challenging schedules highly desired. Strong leadership experience with demonstrated accomplishments and a career track record in the area of front end systems engineering, sustainment activities, support to system integration/test, and project leadership skills is required; Experienced in System Engineering process with a focus on development of products and continuous integration of designs through product deployment for the F-35 market segment.

This rewarding and challenging position must demonstrate strong leadership skills and promote a collaborative environment where requirements engineering is a key driver and contributor from concept inception through final acceptance testing. Significant collaborative leverage of the larger ALIS team and systems team members across multiple aspects of the program is a major expectation of the selected candidate

Must have a Bachelors degree from an accredited college

Must have a final Secret clearance

Desired skills
Accomplished System Engineer with emphasis on requirements definition and baseline configuration management (including requirement work package definition, allocation, concept development, and design synthesis of requirements intent), the ideal candidate will help continue to build a strong and sustainable SE requirements culture with dynamic energy and focus on working across engineering disciplines to assure the highest quality product possible. Ability to rapidly collect and apply lessons learned while growing talent within the team is paramount to success for this role and overall program goals. Successful experience leading large multi-disciplinary Engineering teams with responsibility for cost, schedule and technical performance

- MS or BS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or Systems Engineering, combined with Systems and/or Software Engineering experience
- Experience working with computer systems and software
- Systems Modeling and Design (SysML) and experience working with an enterprise-level toolset (e.g. Enterprise Architect)
- Experience with SVN & JIRA
- Experience managing requirements in DOORs
- Strong written and communication skills
