Are you ready for a leading role as a systems engineer with strong expertise in Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD) and Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD)? Help ensure the successful development of a sophisticated IAMD system for a partner nation in the Middle East.

  • Key Functions:

    • Provide technical expertise and apply sound systems engineering principles in a wide variety of areas including: system of systems integration; Concept of Operations (CONOPS); system architecture; system/software requirements; interface requirements; Command and Control; infrastructure and network design; radar integration; and tactical data links

    • Perform system analyses using modeling and simulation (M&S) and other technical approaches

















Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree in one of the following disciplines, Electrical, Computer or Systems Engineering or similar field and 8 years related experience.  

Required Qualifications:
  • Broad systems engineering and system lifecycle experience with a focus in at least one of the following domains: Tactical Data Links; Ballistic Missile Defense; Air Defense; Command and Control; or radar.
  • Experience with any of the following systems: Patriot; THAAD; Early Warning Radar (EWR); Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS); Command, Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC); Air Operations Center (AOC) or; Control and Reporting Center (CRC)
  • Ability to write complete, unambiguous, and verifiable requirements at the system through software levels
  • Government acquisition experience
  • Ability to collaborate across multiple organizations and engineering disciplines
  • Strong interpersonal and engagement skills in a multicultural environment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Must obtain a DoD Secret Clearance

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Understanding of the DoD FMS acquisition process
  • Familiarity with modeling and simulation tools and techniques. 
  • Experience developing and analyzing large software intensive systems
  • Experience in agile software development methodologies, specifically scrum
