We are looking for a Lead Analyst to support the Air Force Space Command Team working Space Enterprise Vision (SEV) / Space Warfighting Construct (SWC). This individual will learn and build upon the risk-based methodology of developing Warfighter Essential Requirements (WER) and apply them to a Resilient Enterprise Ground (REG) architecture implementation, championing the results within AFSPC, USSTRATCOM and the Joint Requirements Oversight Council (JROC).

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree in one of the following disciplines, Electrical,  Computer or Systems Engineering or similar field and 8 years related experience.  The candidate should possess the ability to define projects or programs greater than themselves.  Candidate understands that he/she will be responsible for work and/or customer relationship development and will acts according toand guides others towardthe proper balance of a) product depth with timeliness and b) technical improvements with programmatic constraints, even when hard compromises are required. Preferred candidates will be recognized by senior management as a thought leader.

Desired qualifications:

  • Expertise in ground-to-ground system communications requirements, architecture resiliency and enabling technologies (e.g., Next-Gen Packet Level Encryption)
  • Expertise in RF communications resiliency between ground and space nodes

  • Familiarity with Offensive and Defensive Space Control (OSC/DSC) and High-Value Asset (HVA) communications requirements

  • Experience with implementing enterprise architecture Defensive Cyberspace Operations (DCO) and cybersecurity requirements

  • Familiarity with Operation Plans (OPLAN) and the Joint Capability Integration and Development System (JCIDS) process

  • Experience with risk assessment methodologies
