Description
Exciting opportunity to expand into undeveloped markets utilizing electronic controls and programming. Candidate will have knowledge of embedded software and PLC architecture. Candide will possess experience with a variety of hardware platforms including parametric, PLC, and web based controllers. Candidate should have applicable experience with programming languages for mobile devices and web. Candidate must be detail oriented and be able to deal with a high degrees of uncertainty. 
 
Responsibilities
  • Support electronic software programming applications development across a range of controllers 
  • Apply high degree of independent knowledge to lead cross functional efforts in technical problem solving 
  • Troubleshooting and problem solving in the area of software code and integrating electronic controls 
  • Support internal and external customers by communicating technical data / specs for products 
  • Coordinate and guide local and global teams of support staff 
  • Develop electronic system applications with custom PLC modules 
  • Technical project management

Requirements

Requirements

Basic

  • Bachelor of Science Degree and seven (7) years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong communications skills and ability to collaborate with a variety of stakeholders, including customers 
  • Hands on experience creating at least one of the following: mobile applications, control software, manufacturing automation and/or web page design 
  • Project management experience 

Preferred

  • Knowledge of refrigeration and/or HVAC systems 
  • Twelve (12) or more years of experience in the Automotive Industry or other transportation market 
  • High level of creativity 
  • Experience with creating intuitive and interactive computer / human interfaces 
  • Electro-mechanical and motor control design a plus
  • Knowledge of HMIs / User Interfaces
  • Isograph programming language experience
