Job Highlights:


The successful candidate will help develop, apply, and integrate advanced cyber assessment technologies and approaches to solve cyber security problems for space based communications, sensors, and position and navigation systems as part of T8A1s overall cyber assessment team. Work is focused on providing proactive cyber assessment skills to the project teams at MITREs Los Angeles area office (El Segundo). This work includes being able to perform assessments and determine what problems need further investigation and resourcing those problems with skills in the Cyber Solutions Technical Center (CSTC).  Success hinges upon ability to engage with technical staff (contractor and government) and senior government managers. This opportunity will tackle some of the most fundamental challenges in technology today while working closely with, and being mentored by, a team of talented MITRE researchers.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or similar field, and eight years related experience.

  • Candidate must be able to demonstrate an ability to apply advanced principles, theories and concepts comparable to those obtained with a Master's degree in a relevant field of study. Candidate should understand the missions, domains and challenges of MITRE customers. In addition, the candidate understands that he/she will be fully responsible for deliverables-including definition, completion, and technical quality, as well as assuring consistency across the responsibility span.
