Job Details

The MITRE Corporation is seeking a highly motivated, entrepreneurial intelligence professional to work on developing new analytic methodologies focused on applying technology to watch listing and other counterterrorism activities for an Intelligence Community customer. As an Intelligence Analyst at MITRE, you will work on a cutting-edge, mission-critical program focused on some of the most challenging technical issues facing our customers. The successful candidate will enjoy working independently, be creative, highly motivated and self-directed. Experience in the Intelligence Community is essential, with specific expertise in developing new business processes a plus.


Work with intelligence analysts to understand their requirements, identifying technical implementation options and issues, designing solutions for data management, conducting data analysis and identifying new ways to exploit and analyze data, and interface with external stakeholders to broaden and deepen customer mission across the IC.












Required Qualifications: Knowledge of data analytics, counterterrorism (CT) data sets and handling procedures. Experience with identifying, documenting and developing business processes and procedures or in technology requirements development. Ability to write and brief analytical and technical intelligence products.

Preferred Qualifications:  Demonstrated experience working CT issues in the IC or DOD.  Basic technical understanding of digital forensics, social network analysis (SNA), data science and analytics concepts and applications.


Minimum Qualifications: BS Degree, CI Polygraph, and 8 years related experience.
