This task requires providing space system engineering expertise to a diverse team of operational, system and sensor experts supporting the joint fight in space. Broad space experience across multiple disciplines is required. Task activities could involve space control, C2/BMC2, future space architecture development, or strategic planning.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree in one of the following disciplines, Electrical,  Computer or Systems Engineering or similar field.  Candidate should possess the ability to be responsible for deliverables or parts of deliverables to customers.

Required Qualifications:

  • Ops or acquisition experience with large, complex DoD systems including C2, communications, space control, radar, and/or optical sensors

  • Experience developing CONOPS, TTPs, or workflows for Air Force Space Surveillance Network sensors or other systems 

  • Excellent collaboration and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task

  • Self-starter capable of working with minimal direct supervision

Desired Qualifications:

Experience in or familiarity with the following areas is also desirable:

  • Prior military experience (strongly desired)

  • System engineering, analysis and design

  • Prior operational background in AFPSC or subordinate units

  • Fielded and developmental space capabilities and supporting infrastructure

  • Space Enterprise Vision/Space Warfighting Construct

  • Strategic planning

  • Modeling and simulation
