The MITRE Corporation is seeking a smart, energetic cyber security engineer with expertise in military or intelligence cyber operations. You will need to be proactive in investigating novel technical approaches, performing research, developing or planning software prototypes, giving technical demonstrations, and contributing to strategic collaboration sessions. You will be working in a dynamic environment, which encourages creativity and requires you to keep pace with current and emerging technologies and practices.


Key Functions:

  • The candidate will work across various customers to solve hard problems related to Cyber Identities.

  • The candidate will apply their knowledge and experience related to signature management and reduction to address new or existing cyber identity techniques.

  • Develop innovative strategies, tactics, techniques, and procedures for cyber operations.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors of Science and 8 years of experience

  • Applicants selected for this position will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information or applicants who are eligible for security clearances.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience in a signature reduction support capacity

  • Successful completion of the Advanced Planners or related course

  • Successful completion of the Due Diligence or related courses

  • Applicants must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance

  • Top Secret level clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Understanding of business operations and finance

  • Experience with cyber identities

  • Strong foundation in Computer Science/Engineering, Network Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related domain knowledge

  • Ability to work as a part of or lead a team

  • Military or government civilian experience is a plus
