MITREs Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Portfolio focuses on systems engineering, systems analysis, systems assessment, and the enabling sensor, communications, and information technologies. Join us and become a key contributor to resolve some of the most challenging problems of the Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS).


 


As a MITRE Systems Analyst, you will conduct analyses and assessments of the BMDS that inform program, budget, and fielding decisions of new capabilities or changes to configuration controlled hardware and software.  Systems Analysts execute and develop modeling and simulation tools, perform data analysis, and apply analytical expertise to assess impacts on BMDS effectiveness in the areas of threat, sensors, battle management, communications systems, interceptor engagements, and kill vehicle performance.












The ideal candidate will have proven experience in:


  • Systems Engineering and Analysis

  • Operations Research

  • Missile Defense

  • Analysis and trade study development to include reporting

  • Missile systems, radars, infrared and visible sensors, communication systems, command and control (C2), fire control, and/or space systems

  • Candidate must have an active DoD secret clearance.

Minimum Qualifications:


BS in System Engineering or related discipline and 8 years of related experience.
