Job Details

Responsible for providing operational technical support and leadership for the management of F-16 Lab Assets. This includes the following:

• Line Replaceable Unit (LRU) Equipment Management
o This person would Provide LRU Equipment Management and support/inventory of System Integration Lab (SIL) Assets for use in F-16 Test Stations
o Support internal LM and DCMA periodic property audits throughout each fiscal year
o Maintain associated database of LRU/Prime Mission Equipment (PME) assets in SIL LRU Room. Edit and maintain property inventory in Property Accountability Records System (PARS), Maximo, and internal Labs & Technical Services (L&TS) database
o Provide inputs to DD-610 for incoming Simulation and Systems Integration Labs (SimSIL) programs
o Coordinate with Test Station responsible engineer to ensure appropriate assets are available per required schedule dates.

• Support Internal and External Groups Return To Vendor (RTV)/Salvage/Quality Assurance Reports (QARS)
o Coordinate and move equipment for RTV's expeditiously, Internal and External requests
o Interface with vendors on status of assets being repaired
o Salvage Review - review and respond to request if item to be salvaged is applicable to another engineering area
o Evaluate QARS and expeditiously process them
o Move assets to Shipping/Receiving or Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) Warehouse for repair delivery. Additionally, document assets via Accountable Property Movement (APM) documentation for all movement of property

Responsibilities would also include providing operational technical support for LM Aero Fort Worth SimSIL systems across multiple SimSIL areas and programs. This individual will support the day-to-day operations, maintenance, configuration management and support of systems test/simulation host computers, projection and display systems, cockpit hardware, electronic interfaces and mechanical assemblies. Typical tasks would include system integration/checkout/test; modifications; troubleshooting; network connectivity support; system/facility security duties. Individual will work with other engineers, customers, and vendors as a team to efficiently support system integration, scheduled events, maintain equipment, support configuration management, and comply with applicable security policies and procedures

Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access and will require a Secret security clearance

Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline or equivalent experience
• Experience in test lab and development engineering experience
• Experience in technical and troubleshooting skills related to lab hardware, systems and software
• Experience in operating and maintaining electronic equipment
• Experience in Asset Management (tracking, logging, dispositioning, tagging, etc.)
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite of tools
• Experience in coordinating between various engineering groups/disciplines

Desired skills
• Direct experience with Microsoft Excel and Access DB preferred
• Experience with aircraft hardware, electronic interfaces, projection/display systems, audio systems, and/or mechanical assemblies
• Ability to read aircraft schematics and identify signals on specific wiring
• Experience in handling COMSEC and Crypto assets
• Subject Matter Expert (SME) on handling explosives and munitions. Able to support annual United States Government (USG) and Environment, Safety and Health (ESH) audits of explosive crib in the SimSIL complex
• Experienced in lab operations
• Experienced in development engineering related to aeronautics
