Job Details

The role is the systems lead for the IRAD effort to integrate a near IR sensor into the JAGM architecture. The person will be leading a small team to work with suppliers to develop the EO technology to work with the JAGM variant 3 requirements. The person must be able to lead a small team, work with various functions to refine requirements, work with the customer to establish expectations, and develop test assets to demonstrate capability. The person must have experience with EO technology with as it relates to missiles systems

In support of the effort, the candidate will support all of the following tasks:
-Assessment of new mission vs. old JAGM requirements
-Facilities test setup & missile integration support
-Support AMSTAR in updating IR portion of HWIL
-DVT Test Planning (Test Plans/Procedures/Reviews)
-Perform DVT Performance Testing (MTF/NEDT/Noise/Dynamic Range)
-Perform DVT Environmental Testing (PFCT plus additional profiles of concern)
-Software SIL Testing / Aircraft Integration
-Support of Tower Test Demos for Customer
-Flight Test Planning (Test Plans/Procedures/Reviews)
-Support Readiness reviews and Flight test events – AMSTAR, PFCT, Flight Test

Basic Qualifications
-Demonstrated EO integration and test experience

-Familiarity with lab integration tools, test equipment and procedures

-Familiarity with integration and test processes

-Demonstrated skill generating high-quality test plans, procedures and requirements

-Demonstrated Integration and Test experience in the full system development lifecycle

-Demonstrated knowledge of weapon systems, ICDs, and airworthiness certification

-Formal field testing experience on complex programs

Must have an interim secret clearance prior to start

Desired skills
-Prior experience leading or being a significant technical contributor for programs with aggressive schedules in a dynamic customer environment

-Prior experience presenting at Senior Management and Customer technical/readiness reviews (Mission Success, TRR, FRR)

-Prior experience leading or participating in the Failure Review Board process

-Demonstrated solid communication and technical leadership skills

-Experience with hardware/software integration in both lab and field environment

-Experience with the JAGM/Hellfire product line
