Will function as the Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) for the RMS 300 M St Washington DC location as well as provide ISSM support to the Lockheed Martin sites in Baltimore, MD and King George, VA. The candidate must have a basic understanding of the US Government system accreditation process under the Intelligence Community Directive 503 (ICD-503) /Risk Management Framework. The candidate should have and understanding of other security disciplines and how they impact and interact with Information Systems (IS) security. Must have experience with the development, implementation, and maintenance of system security plans. Responsible for IS security testing, accreditation and continuous monitoring activities as well as apply information technology security principles and configure security settings for Windows systems, network devices and supported applications. Candidate will develop and implement IS security procedures and plans for the operation of both networked and standalone classified computers and coordinate government agency approvals as needed. Conduct self-inspection reviews, complete weekly system audits and conduct media reviews. Conduct comprehensive investigations of computer security incidents, coordinating with other organizations for expertise as needed.

Additional scope will include policy interpretation, provide ongoing guidance and direction to onsite personnel on IS Security issues, and participation in applicable Review Boards and Technical Exchange Meetings. Candidate will interact with customer personnel on a regular basis regarding ongoing compliance and to coordinate system modifications

Basic Qualifications
Information Assurance Officer (IAO) or ISSO/ISSM experience.
Strong Windows administration skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Works well independently and in group settings
DoD 8570 Security relevant certification (Security +, CISSP, etc.).
Final Secret Clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret Clearance

Desired skills
Current experience with the Defense Security Service (DSS), NISPOM Chapter 8, DAAPM, ICD503/RMF.
Linux/Unix administration skills
System network experience
