The selected candidate will be a Instructional Systems Design subject matter expert and courseware content developer with the ALIS Training team. The selected candidate will perform the following tasks:
• Will adhere to approved style guides and the JSF ISD Plan that documents training policy and standards
• Will be involved in all parts of the Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate (ADDIE) process for a variety of training projects and training scenarios to ensure the effective development of sound courseware content to meet the customer’s needs
• Will apply instructional design best practices for institutional training, training materials, and sustainment training
• Must be a proven self-starter with an ability to interact effectively with military, industry, and academic partners
• Must be capable of multitasking, working within deadlines, and smoothly transition between various projects
• Must have excellent communication skills as well as, the ability to work with Programmers, Graphic Artists, and Subject Matter Experts
• Must be capable of providing accurate task completion estimates
• Must be proficient in MS Word and MS Excel

Basic Qualifications
Must have knowledge of Instructional Systems Design (ISD) principles and demonstrable experience in the design/development and implementation of a multitude of training products

• Electronic Mediated Lecture (EML)
• Interactive Courseware (ICW)
• Supplemental Teaching Materials
• Procedural Job Aids
• other multimedia training products
Must be able to apply knowledge of adult learning theory, training principles, and techniques
Must have technical expertise and knowledge to develop technical solutions to complex problems that require regular use of ingenuity and creativity
Have experience in applying instructional design best practices
Must have time management skills with strong attention to detail; ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and meet assigned deadlines
Must have excellent written and verbal skills including editing and proofreading

Desired skills
Experience or familiarity with any of the following skills or technologies is desired:
• Experience with developing Procedural Job Aids with Adobe Captivate
• Experience with SharePoint as a user
• Experience with Multi-Media Design Architecture including Interactivity Level 2 & 3
• Strong interpersonal and teaming skills

• Have working experience with IBM KeneXa Learning Content Management System (LCMS) as a developer as well as, other tools for development and distribution of training/courseware
• Experience or familiarity with F-35 ALIS software, such as SCM, CMMS, TMS, ALIS Administration, a plus
• Experience with e-Learning standards, to include SCORM requirements and web environments
