The selected candidate for this position will provide project leadership in support of Corporate Engineering, Technology & Operations (CETO) Technology Strategy, Intelligence and Innovation (TSI2) organization and report to the Innovation Lead under the Director of Technology and Innovation. The candidate will be the primary point of contact for the cross enterprise TSI2 innovation seedling portfolio and responsible for supporting the implementation of the corporate technology strategy through open internal and external innovation challenges

This individual will be responsible for execution of all projects and activities within their portfolio, including:

1. Support for the Technology Information Enterprise (TIE) by monitoring issues/concerns with day-to-day operations of existing innovation tools, processes, and networks for TSI2 innovation seedling projects
2. Collaboration across CETO, and Corporate Strategy and Business Development (CSBD) to identify and fill customer needs by leveraging innovation tools, techniques, and challenges
3. Implement challenges on Brightidea and other innovation tools that add business value
4. Mature the physical and virtual cross business area collaboration ecosystem
5. Implement the seedling process to generate an optimized portfolio
6. Work with innovation seedling teams to ensure projects are competed and results are communicated and archived
7. Provide effective communication of innovation initiatives across the enterprise
8. Support external innovation activities, and represent Lockheed Martin as an innovation thought leader at external innovation forums
9. Collect, analyze and report innovation metrics.

This individual will work with innovation seedling Principal Investigators (PIs) to develop detailed statements of work, allocate funding to participating LOBs by creating IWTAs, oversee the execution of the innovation activities and will monitor/track the progress in Microsoft Project and Enterprise Operations defined budgetary tools.

Domestic Travel required approximately 30% of work schedule

Basic Qualifications
• Previous experience with innovation portfolio management and innovation initiatives
• Project / Program Management (Cost, Schedule, Risk)
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Project, PowerPoint and Excel
• Financial acumen (cost account management, Intra-Work Transfer Agreements)
• Strong team building skills demonstrated recently in a large diverse organization
• Strong interpersonal and networking skills

Desired skills
• Cross functional project leadership experience
• Experience presenting to mid and senior management
• Familiarity with Innovation initiatives and tools across the LM
• Mature professional business acumen
• Familiarity with DOD experimentation process
• Familiarity with corporate innovation, design thinking, and lean startup methodologies
• Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills
