Provide technical assistance and hands on support for the design, implementation, and integration of enterprise systems and system-of-systems for federal agencies. 

Our Information Systems Engineer will contribute to teams with expertise in one or more of the following technology and practice areas: Systems Engineering (SE), requirements engineering, systems development and design support, model based SE including verification and validation tests, and systems retirement. 

Our SE will collaborate and participate in activities to ensure knowledge creation/sharing and integration within and across all work programs as appropriate, and will support MITRE's efforts to develop work programs with new customers, and in some customer project activities such as assessments, position papers, and special studies. Candidate will help support internal activities to promote the advancement and application of model-based engineering, complex systems engineering, and systems assurance.

List of desired majors include: B.S. or M.S. in Systems Engineering and/or other related engineering fields, such as electrical engineering, computer science/engineering, mechanical engineering, or other, and also in Physics and Mathematics.

Relevant academic or industry experience using technical tools/techniques such as Vensim, Stella iThink, Anylogic, SystemiTool, Causal Loop Diagrams, Tableau, NVivo, CORE, Rhapsody, DOORS, JIRA


Familiarity with the practical application of model-based systems engineering (MBSE). 

Preferred Qualifications: 

Preference given to candidate with a current or in-process DoD clearance.

MS preferred, relevant internships a plus!
