Provide Information System Security Officer (ISSO) support to the Lockheed Martin contractor group at the Hurlburt Field, FL, Aircrew Training and Rehearsal Support (ATARS) site. Incorporate and integrate DoD security practices into systems and procedures. Assess computer and network systems security, implement and enforce security controls, accomplish technical security requirements and mitigations, support systems test and configuration management process for changes. Perform computer security auditing. Will be required to have working knowledge of Risk Management Framework (RMF), Emission Security (EMSEC), and Information Security requirements.

Conduct or oversee self-inspections and maintain compliance with the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), corporate directives, Air Force/DoD Cybersecurity instructions and other government contractual security commitments. Responsible for systems security testing, writing, implementing, and maintaining System Security Plans; updating Contingency Plans and any Program Protection Plans required by government customers. The position requires an individual with a record of success as a team member and motivator. Professional presentations skills, written communications and excellent computer skills required. Must be a self-starter, a disciplined worker and have a professional reputation for integrity. Must have a security certification per DoD Directive 8570.01M (e.g., Security+, CISSP). Applicant selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information

Basic Qualifications
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 2 years of professional experience; or no experience required with a related Masters degree. Considered experienced, but still a learner
Certification in DoD Directive 8570.01M (e.g., Security+, Certification and Accreditation Professional (CAP), or CISSP)
Windows, LINUX, networking, or VoIP knowledge and experience.
Broad technical background in information systems
Experience with patch management
Proficient in MS Word, Visio, Excel, and PowerPoint applications
Excellent organizational and computer skills.
Works well independently and in group settings. Must be able to work flexible hours.

Desired skills
Experience as an ISSO or IAO.
Experience with DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP)
Experience with ACAS or vulnerability scanners
Experience in Computer Security (COMPUSEC), EMSEC, and Operations Security (OPSEC) disciplines.
Security plan development.
Knowledge of National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Security Controls / Risk Management Framework (RMF) and Air Force Platform IT (PIT)
