This position fulfills an Information Assurance (IA) engineering role with the RMS C4USS Cyber & Security Solutions Team (CaS2T) in support of the JRDC Program

This is a Cybersecurity Engineer for the Ballistic Missile Defense System Support (BMDSS) Organization on the JRDC program at Schreiver AFB, CO. Candidate will provide Information Assurance (IA) and security engineering support to multiple enclaves including the C2BMC Test Bed, the Joint Early Warning Lab (JEWL), BNOSC Situational Awareness System (BSAS), and the International Point of Presence (IPOP)

Candidate will report to the BMDSS Security Lead. The Cyber Security Engineer will work with a team of engineers using knowledge of NIST, DoD, and local requirements to develop, implement, and manage enclave security postures

Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information

Basic Qualifications
Experience with Risk Management Framework (RMF) implementation across multiple phases of a large program

Security+ certification or better (equivalent certification under DoD
8570.01-M (IAM-III)

Desired skills
• Strong experience with networks (Cisco/Juniper); Experience with Solarwinds NMS

• Knowledge of DOD STIG implementation and reporting; HBSS administration; ACAS administration; intrusion detection and firewall system architecture and management; IAVM Program; POA&M management, PKI technology; security incident handling; software testing and evaluation; Common Criteria requirements; FIPS 140-2 standards

• Experience managing security configurations of firewalls and intrusion detection systems (IDS) to DOD Standards

• Excellent interpersonal skills, self-motivated, with keen attention to detail
