This position is for an Information Assurance Engineer Sr working for Lockheed Martin Enterprise Business Services (EBS) in the RMS IT Information Security Officer’s (ISO) Cyber Governance Team.

Responsibilities include leading and monitoring Corporate Information Security-driven initiatives requiring execution within the RMS Business Area; monitoring RMS environments in the CyRIS system to ensure security controls and risks are adequately documented, managed, approved, and/or escalated. Support lab governance strategies to understand the current RMS Lab landscape and identify areas of risks, opportunities, best practices and remediation strategies. Lead holistic/integrated risk management and reporting; ensuring visibility into engagements, projects, current cyber security risk posture, and areas for potential focus/mitigation/improvement. The individual in this role will interface with RMS IT administrators, program POCs, IT Business Partners, Corporate Information Security, and our peers in the respective Business Area ISO Teams. Aside from being technically astute, the candidate must demonstrate effective soft skills and business acumen

Basic Qualifications
• Hands-on cyber security and/or Information Technology experience, within the consecutive past 3 years, in one or more of the following disciplines: infrastructure, network engineering, applications, and systems administration (Windows or *nix).
• Basic understanding of network concepts (eg. traffic flows, TCP/IP, network devices, etc)
• Demonstrated work experience with assessing cyber security risks and implementing controls/security best practices
• Demonstrated experience with analyzing and reporting cyber security risks, opportunities, and trends
- Familiarity architectural standards, blue prints and security controls requirements Experience

Desired skills
• Familiarity with Corporate Information Security Manual (CIPM)
- Familiarity enterprise risk management systems (ECR, WRS, and/or CyRIS systems)
• Effective analytical and critical thinking skills – proven problem solving and follow-thru in high-pressure situations
• Proven ability to prioritize and work multiple efforts simultaneously
• Strong technical writing skills
• Familiarity with DFARS, NISPOM, NIST as it relates to IT security
• Experience with ISO 27000, DIACAP, or RMF
• Effective written and oral communication skills
• Working Knowledge of Lockheed Martin Information Security policies, architectural standards and controls requirements
• Security+ or CISSP certification
