This position fulfills an Information Assurance (IA) technical lead role in Lockheed Martin Rotary Mission Systems. The candidate will provide guidance and technical leadership solutions related to internal and external customers for security engineering, security architecture, and Authorization and Accreditation (A&A). Roles and responsibilities included working closely with the MH-60R/S, VH-92 and Combat Rescue Helicopter program engineering team and Customer IA team.

The selected candidate will identify technical and operational requirements to support development of secure solutions and evaluate security controls to ensure compliance with applicable requirements and standards. The candidate will perform security activities necessary to support the A&A of software applications and evaluate system changes to assess their impact on security and the mission. The candidate must be able to operate with minimal direction in a customer focused environment while demonstrating outstanding internal and external customer communication/relationship skills

The MH-60R/S Helicopters and their associated hardware and software architecture were designed and developed in the mid-1990s. The MH-60R/S Information Assurance (IA) architecture, an integration of the hardware and software IA capabilities was originally certified and accredited (C&A) in accordance with the DoD Information Technology Security Certification and Accreditation Process (DITSCAP).

The purpose of the MH-60R/S RMF Transition effort is to align the MH-60R/S to the RMF Assessment and Authorization (A&A, formerly Certification and Accreditation) process to comply with reciprocity between the Department of Defense, Director of National Intelligence and the National Institute of Standards and Technology (representing the Federal government agencies)

The candidate will lead the activities required to complete the transition of MH-60R/S from the DOD DIACAP to RMF. To accomplish the MH-60 R/S RMF transition, the candidate and members of the IA team will complete the activities of RMF Step 3 and Step 4 following the guidance in NAVAIR Standard Work Packages SWP-726-003 for Step 3 and SWP-726-004 for Step 4

Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information

Basic Qualifications
Candidate must have CISSSP or CISM certification, with experience performing IA activities in support of software and system requirements, design, development, testing and sustainment; Candidate must have experience supporting Department of Defense (DOD) or Intel IA Programs and experience with employment of DoD IA requirements, policies, and processes to include certification and accreditation as part of DIACAP or RMF. Candidate must have demonstrated experience with risk and vulnerability assessments and mitigation and the ability to provide guidance on DoD Cyber/IA regulations and requirements to senior customers, senior LM leaders, the program engineering staff and the IA Cyber Inside team

Desired skills
Candidate should have experience implementing IA on avionics or mission systems and/or air vehicles, experience with Secure Configuration/Hardening of DoD Information Systems, and experience with system audit configuration, capture, analysis, and risk reduction
