This position is for an Information Assurance professional to support the C-130J Maintenance and Aircrew Training System (JMATS) program in the Rotary & Mission Systems Infrastructure Engineering organization that is located in Orlando, FL

The candidate selected will be responsible for the following:
• Defining and documenting cybersecurity policies and techniques, and procedures for
conducting assessments and resolution
• Conducting vulnerability patching and assessments on production and fielded systems
• Security hardening and Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) compliance for Microsoft products and Linux systems
• Methodically analyzing vulnerabilities discovered in production and fielded systems, and identifying solutions
• Developing Risk Management Framework (RMF) packages to include supporting documentation such as System Security Plans, system drawings, hardware/software lists, and test plans
• Develop security tasks for inclusion into the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and analyzing schedule changes for impact on security tasks
• Collaborating with sub-contractors, including giving guidance on implementation of security controls and remediating vulnerabilities
• Collaborating cross functional groups, including but not limited to the following: software engineering, systems engineering, and field services

Must be willing to travel. 15-20% travel will be required, both domestically and internationally

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field AND a minimum of two years of professional experience, OR master’s degree in related field and zero years of experience

• Hands-on cybersecurity and/or Information Technology experience, within the past year, in one or more of the following disciplines: infrastructure, network engineering, applications, or systems administration (Windows or *nix)
• Understanding of Security Best Practices
• Understanding of Network Concepts
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to research and analyze problems based on limited or ambiguous data
• Ability to work independently and with a team
• Security+ or CISSP certification

Desired skills
• Experience with or working knowledge of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and the DOD Information Assurance Certification & Accreditation Process (DIACAP) methods
• Experience with or working knowledge of the Joint Special Access Implementation Guide (JSIG)
• Familiarity with using Bash/Shell to produce hardening scripts and workable knowledge of using utilities such as Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) to identify system vulnerabilities
• Effective analytical and critical thinking skills – proven problem solving and follow through in high-pressure situations
• Proven ability to prioritize and work multiple efforts simultaneously
