Job Details

The successful candidate will provide Information System Security Officer (ISSO) support to the Lockheed Martin C-130 Aircrew Training System (ATS) Information System Security Manager (ISSM) at the Little Rock AFB site. The selected candidate will incorporate and integrate DoD security practices into program operations. This position will be a part of the overall team responsible for security engineering designs and implementation in all aspects of Information Assurance and Information Security (InfoSec) Engineering
The ideal candidate will assess and mitigate system security threats/risks throughout the program life cycle; validate system security requirements definition and analysis; establish system security designs; implement security designs in hardware, software, data, and procedures; verify security requirements; perform system assessment and authorization planning and testing and liaison activities, and support secure systems operations and maintenance
The ideal candidate, working with area leads, will help establish direction, workload and scheduling, provide alignment with program objectives, and meet multiple program commitments with a team of people across multiple projects
Professional written communications and excellent computer skills required. Candidate must be a self-starter, a disciplined worker and have a professional reputation for integrity. Applicant selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Occasional travel required

Must be capable of attaining a SECRET clearance

Additional duties and related responsibilities will be assigned as required

Basic Qualifications
A&A Package Development (Risk Management Framework (RMF))
Experience performing Cybersecurity activities in support of software and system requirements, design, development, testing and sustainment
Experience supporting Department of Defense (DOD) or Intel Cyber Programs
Demonstrated experience with employment of DoD Cybersecurity requirements, policies and procedures to include assessment and authorization activities

Desired skills
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 2 years of professional experience; or no experience required with a related Master’s degree
Experience in Computer Security, Emission Security (EMSEC), or Operations Security (OPSEC) disciplines
Experience as an ISSO or IAO
Experience with eMASS, Xacta, HBSS & ACAS
Experience with Secure Configuration/Hardening of DoD Information Systems
Knowledge of CNSSI 1253
Experience with RHEL
Ability to provide guidance on DoD Cyber regulations and requirements to engineering and software development staff
DoD 8570 IAM Level 2 (Security+) or be able to obtain in the first 6 months
Experience in vulnerability and compliance assessments and mitigation
Excellent organizational and computer skills
Works well independently and in group settings
Must be able to work flexible hours
Proficient in MS Word, Visio, Excel, and PowerPoint applications
Must be capable of attaining a SECRET clearance
