This position is for an Information Assurance (IA) Capability Manager, in Colorado Springs, CO. This position is a management/leadership position for the Command, Control, Battle Management & Communications (C2BMC) personnel at Federal Drive, Colorado Springs. LM facility, reporting to the IA Manager

This position will provide IA leadership and technical guidance as part of the overall support to the C2BMC program. The candidate will provide guidance and technical leadership for IA/Cyber related assessments, trade studies, and certification & accreditation (C&A). The candidate will be required to provide Full Spectrum Leadership to the direct members of the team. The candidate will be part of a dynamic IA team working to capture, define, architect, design, develop, integrate, test and sell-off products to various government customers. The candidate will work closely with the IA team and program leaders, assuming responsibility for follow on business capture, proposal and project management

Specific tasks include management for a 12 to 15 engineering team; Manage personnel resources to support company sales and IR&D plans. Build and maintain a staffing plan, coordinate and forecast new work, recruit and hire qualified and passionate IA engineers to develop the proper skill level and diversity mix to exceed customer needs. The candidate will have project cost and critical-path schedule accountability

Candidate will focus on providing guidance to team members to meet critical schedules and resolve critical/complex technical or operational problems. Candidate will perform as the technical manager of multidisciplinary IA engineering team; actively involved in daily operations when required to meet critical schedules or resolve complex issues by providing solutions which require ingenuity, creativity, and cost effectiveness

The selected candidate will spend approximately 80% of their time on direct program support, with about 20% on management duties, described below

Management duties include:
• TEMPO Time card approval (timekeeping/overtime authorization), compliance training, promotions, job actions, LM Commit/Performance Assessments, etc
• CONCUR Travel expense tool knowledge and expertise
• Reward recognition (SPOT, SRA, All-in, etc.)
• Career counseling and terminations
• New business support to include close interaction with the Cyber Inside team

Leadership:
• Solid FSL communication skills in interpersonal and group settings (internal and external) and as a technical presenter to large audiences. Frequent contact with internal personnel, other company teammates, and outside customers and industry peers
• Under the RMS cultural imperatives, candidate needs a strong personality to inspire cooperation, confidence, and motivation for a motivated Cyber/IA team working in a stressful environment

Applicant selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information

Basic Qualifications
• CISSP or CISM certified
• Ability to work in an environment with evolving requirements and dynamic schedules
• Knowledge of the customer and Lockheed Martin program lifecycles, processes and procedures
• Ability to interact effectively with customers and senior program management
• Knowledge of the LM Earned Value Management (EVM) processes
• Knowledge of LM capture and proposal process
• Some knowledge of the LM Brass Ring staffing tool and LM GRID tracking tool
• Demonstrated, outstanding internal and external customer relation skills

Desired skills
• Experience in writing Basis of Estimates (BOEs)
• Experience with creation of Development and Operations products
• Demonstrated experience in managing an Cyber engineering team to achieve and surpass functional and programmatic requirements and goals
