Job Details

This individual will be the algorithmist overseeing the development of algorithms of a complex sensor subsystem that will be designed, built and tested to a Performance Based Specification by a subcontractor. Effort includes:- Oversight of sensor algorithm design, integration, and test activities at subcontractor's facilities- Coordinating of sensor algorithm test activities with functional, program management, and customer- Coordinating algorithm portion of a Performance Based Spec updates with supplier and internal disciplines- Interfacing effectively with multiple functional groups including: engineering admin, designers, subcontracts, planning, and quality personnel during assembly and inspection process.- Coordination of performance trade studies using an integrated flight simulation (IFS). Individual will be responsible for algorithm requirements and related test activities. Travel is required to support customer coordination and qualification testing efforts at subcontractor

Basic Qualifications
Must have more than 10 years of previous experience with military Anti-Radiation Homing (ARH) or passive RF ES hardware. Some experience in ES/ARH systems engineering, algorithm development, signal processing, simulation and analysis tools (MATLAB) is required. Candidate must have expertise in performance analysis, system definition, requirements analysis, and flowdown of systems requirements with direction and interpretation to hardware and software

Generally, this position requires a working knowledge of image enhancement, detection and correlation techniques and experience in design and analysis of image processing algorithms. Experience working with Matlab and C++ simulations using collected data and synthetic data. Simulation development experience is needed for this position. Strong math skills are required for this position

Must have a secret clearance with an investigation within the last 5 years

Desired skills
Experience with multi-sensor data fusion is a plus. Understanding of inertial tracking is also desired

Good hands-on hardware skills desired. Must have excellent communication skills
