The Sr. Manager for the Human/Machines Solutions team is responsible for technology integration, portfolio execution, and effective technology transfer of the company digital technology projects impacting digital manufacturing, manufacturing simulation, industrial control systems, autonomous production solutions, and automation or semi-automation

Focus areas include advanced simulation including virtual reality, enabling design for manufacturing, machine utilization and analytics, process control, smart sensors/measurement systems, advanced robotics, human augmentation, and autonomy. This leader oversees direct and indirect project teams across the enterprise

The Senior Manager for Human/Machine Solutions – Emerging Technologies is part of a senior management team which reports to the Director of Emerging Technologies. Emerging Technologies reports into the Vice President of the Future Enterprise Program under the Digital Transformation Office within Corporate Engineering, Technology and Operations organization

Basic Qualifications
Experience in technology project management, including road mapping, required. Demonstrated success in automation/digital factory technologies and implementation. Experience managing technical teams. The applicant must demonstrate a history of collaboration and working with customers. Demonstrated success in leading technical and functional professionals, across disciplines, to develop effective solutions

• Demonstrated success energizing teams, openly collaborating, and enabling their best performance
• Capable of representing Lockheed Martin with professionalism in external settings with senior executives from industry and government
• The selected candidate will be a member of a high-performing virtual team and must be self-motivated with a strong work ethic, time-management, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with developing and maintaining strategic multi-year plans
• Demonstrate effective communication skills as the position will require frequent interactions with technical and executive leaders across the enterprise
• Ability to travel for broad business area facilitation and team interaction is required and should be expected at approximately 25% of the time
• Recognized leader in the field
• Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies and lead teams to incorporate
• Minimum 14 years relevant professional experience including at least 3 years managing direct reports
