The candidate selected will be part of a highly motivated and results oriented team engaged in design and development of ground-based Hardware, Mechanical, Electrical and Mechanical based systems. The individual must exhibit technical leadership attributes, must be capable of working under general direction, and must be capable of providing thorough and practical technical solutions to a wide range of problems consistent with organizational objectives. Responsibilities include supporting the system engineers performing Hardware level architecture, subsystem design, trade studies, coordination of other engineers performing detailed tasks, size/weight/power analyses and mitigation plans, and creating engineering baseline artifacts to document the above for the team.

The multiple programs and capture efforts in this division generally include application software installed in mobile and fixed facility installations. An understanding of the complete range of product drawings used for specification, fabrication, assembly, wiring, inspection and installation of equipment along with the ability to apply pertinent company, military and industrial design, drawing and documentation standards is necessary. Occasional travel to CONUS locations is required. Knowledge of AutoCAD, Pro/Engineer, and Visio CAD tools is desired.

The C2 Systems business area supports multiple programs and additional study and IRAD efforts. C2 Systems develops highly reliable command and control systems. These systems demand integration of high-end COTS and custom hardware, interfacing to complex communications systems, and support demanding environmental conditions in fixed-facility and transportable configurations

L-code responsibilities include staff recruiting, re-assignments, performance evaluations, promotions, recognition, career planning, career counseling, training, and other job actions. Lead 10-15 direct reports who directly support the C2 Line of Business. Span of leadership encompasses multiple projects, overseeing the implementation of engineering solutions across the program lifecycle.
