This position provides support to the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) Weapon System Engineering, Integration and Test (WSEIT) Specialty Engineering (SPE) team. Selected candidate will report to the WSEIT-SPE Lead and work in a team environment supporting experienced analyst. Tasks will include: (1) Resolution of parts issues with in-house and subcontract hardware suppliers. (2) Conducts or participates in the research, design, development, and testing of COTS or custom computing hardware and/or other electrical components. (3) Develops designs for the installation of components and assemblies into chassis, racks, cabinets, workstations, customer facilities, and/or shelters. (4) Plans, directs, reviews and coordinates preparation of project documentation to ensure customer contract and company requirements are met. (5) Prepares specifications, evaluates vendors, and analyzes test reports. (6) Conducts or participates in the selection, qualification, testing, failure analysis and programming of electrical and mechanical components, mechanisms and assemblies. (7) Parts management duties may include digital, analog, power converter, distribution, field programmable gate array or ASIC design support. (7) Prepare technical and progress reports on assign tasks

Basic Qualifications
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related engineering discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education. Entry level. A well organized, self-starter able to take direction, work effectively independently or in a team environment, and dedicated to make a significant contribution to mission success. Good computer skills, good oral and written communications skills and strong interpersonal skills are required

Desired skills
Experience with Microsoft office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel). Ability to communicate effectively with leadership
