Entry level Hardware Engineer to work in a teaming environment on all aspects of definition and development of hardware for full life-cycle of deployable of C2 systems. Candidate will support the development of technical aspects of the electronics and fabrication/build of shelterized and fixed facility systems. Candidate will support: early system concepts development, hardware architecture definition, trade studies, specifications of COTS computers and networks, definition of power systems requirements, definition of communications system interface, system hardware / software integration, planning and execution of system field deployment, and sustained O&M field activities. Candidate must be able to take direction and proceed with the task and work under closely supervised conditions in support of these efforts. Candidate must have the ability develop solutions to routine technical problems of limited scope and have must have good documentations skills to support completion of trouble reports and other documentation

Basic Qualifications
-Ability to obtain a Security clearance
-Must have basic AutoCad skills or equivalent in order to perform drawing updates
-Ability to perform hands on Hardware builds
-Must understand Hardware Design
-Must have the ability to perform basic tests on COTS equipment to assure functionality. i.e. verify system startup BIOS, check video output, test NIC connections
-Perform system level troubleshooting and repair. i.e. replace video cards, replace hard drives, replace memory, replace drives
-coordinate with others
-work in a team environment

Desired skills
-Understand manufacturing principles (i.e. work instructions, equipment fabrication, cable fabrication and equipment installation)
-Understand requirements and liaison with engineering, vendors and suppliers
-Preferably experience with LM culture
-COTS integration experience
