Job Details

Staff Systems G&C Engineer needed to support on-going Development. Candidate should have a good working knowledge of Integrated Flight Simulation (IFS) architectures including initial and spiral development in both real time and non-real time environments. Candidate should have a strong foundation in Guidance and Control concepts, algorithms design, along with developing and enhancing missile system truth modeling. Candidate will also need to be well versed in large scale performance evaluation methods and cluster computing environments used for system trades and design analysis. Good customer interaction skills will also be required. Position will also require skills utilizing the Software Test Station (STS) to develop new hardware interface methods and to validate Operational Flight Program functionality using simulated environments

Basic Qualifications
Must have experience with feedback control system design and analysis and knowledge of basic aerodynamic principles. Strong math skills are required in the areas of linear algebra, matrix math, statistics, and trigonometry and coordinate transformation. The candidate must have experience with state estimation filters such as KALMAN, Extended KALMAN filter (EKF) and multiple model adaptive estimation. Experience in terrestrial navigation and navigation state error estimation is also required. Must be experienced in FORTRAN, MATLAB and C/C++ programming

Must have an interim secret clearance prior to start

Desired skills
Hardware-In-The-Loop (HWIL) simulation experience is desired. Flight software integration and verification experience is also a plus. Experience with Embedded Software, Radio Frequency (RF) and Electro-Optics (EO) knowledge
