Senior Systems Guidance, Navigation and Control (GNC) Engineer needed to support on-going program developments. Candidate should have a good working knowledge of Guidance and Control concepts and will be required to modify / create new guidance algorithms associated with the effort. Advanced knowledge of Navigation and Control concepts also a plus. Candidate will also need to be well versed in performing large simulation studies utilizing the SIXDOF to create Weapon Engagement Zone Plots and also perform system trades. Good customer interaction skills will also be required since the position will require bi-weekly meetings. Position will also require skills utilizing the Software Test Station (STS) to check out and validate user delivered OFP

A Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GNC) engineer assures that a platform is capable of finding its way to an intended destination and delivering its payload optimally. This is accomplished, in part, by performing Missile 6DOF simulation analysis and Hardware-In-The-Loop (HWIL) simulation analysis. Inclusive in this process is the development and analysis of guidance, navigation and autopilot algorithms. In addition, development of simulation models and performing hardware integration is required. Performance verification and troubleshooting is also required


Basic Qualifications
Must have experience with feedback control system design and analysis and knowledge of basic aerodynamic principles.

Must be experienced in FORTRAN and ADA as well as C/C++ and Common Simulation Framework (CSF)

Must have a minimum of a current interim security clearance to be considered for this role

Desired skills
Hardware-In-The-Loop (HWIL) simulation experience is desired. Flight software integration and verification experience is also a plus. Experience with Embedded Software, RF/EO knowledge
