GAA Portfolio Management Software Developer (AQR Capital Management, LLC - Greenwich, CT) Assist Portfolio Management team in building the core systems that drive portfolio implementation. Work with researchers and portfolio managers to become familiar with the investment philosophy that drives AQR. Build the company’s proprietary portfolio management and performance attribution computer systems as well as develop the investment processes and frameworks supporting them. Ensure optimal function of AQR’s workflow platform using services, messaging, multi-threading and cloud computing.


Requires a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Financial Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or in fulfilling technical requirements in support of portfolio management and investment processes. Must also have three years of experience in the following: object-oriented programming and software design patterns; a compiled programming language; SQL and relational databases; financial products, including futures, options, bonds, forwards, and swaps; calculating and interpreting option prices and Greeks; risks and hedging methodologies, including delta hedging and FX hedging; and fixed income analytics, including duration, convexity, and spreads. Experience may be gained concurrently.
