Enflite, a subsidiary of LifePort, located in Georgetown, Texas, designs and produces top-of-the-line cabin accessories, sectional pocket doors and galley equipment for executive and first-class commercial aircraft. Enflite’s Customer Service team is currently searching for an energetic, dependable, with focus on results, knowledgeable, team oriented, and willing to travel Technician

The Customer Service Technician role in summary:
- Installation, operation, maintenance, inspection, repair and modification of equipment, controls or ancillary products.
- Performs installation, testing, repair, servicing and/or removal of LifePort/Enflite equipment/products in various model/make airframes in accordance with technical data and FAA approved practices. This can include work on sheet metal, mechanical assemblies, electrical wiring, etc.; and conduct logbook updates.
- Troubleshoots equipment following technical data, drawings, or engineering instructions/documentation
- Provide guidance and training to customers in establishing operation, maintenance, and inspection procedures and techniques.
- Conduct analysis of equipment failures to determine cause and recommend corrective action
- Provide manuals and training on the use of LifePort/Enflite equipment
- Regularly communicate with customers to discuss use and servicing.
- Read, understand/interpret, and adhere to all technical requirements
- Create Article Support Packages to go out with system shipments.
- Adhere to the Quality Manual and the Enflite Repair Station Manual (FAA regulated)
- Effectively participate in all job-related training requirements and progressively achieve skills and competency requirements
- Focus on time management when performing all actions in the filed or shop; work efficiently with minimal supervision
- Communicate and respond to maintenance issues and procedures with customers in a professional manner
- Determine the difference between customer induced maintenance vs. warranty maintenance
- Operate powered and non-powered equipment in field and shop
- Support all continuous improvement initiatives
- Support all ESH policies and training requirements
- Performs other related duties as assigned commensurate with position

Basic Qualifications
Required:

- FAA A&P License
- Able to read and interpret technical drawings (including electrical system schematics, wire harness assembly) and documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Proficient at using most hand-operated, powered and non-powered tools in a repair environment
- Able to perform functional tests using a variety of methods.
- Able to perform high reliability soldering Read and interpret Mil Specs
- Advanced skills in communication and presentation skills
- Able to write impactful routine reports and correspondence.
- Regularly lift and/or carry up to 25 pounds unassisted (light industrial environment)
- Able to use math using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals; to compute rate, ratio, and percent; draw and interpret graphs (bar, line); and understand and use a variety of measurements and mechanical measuring devices
- Talented at developing and fostering relationships with internal and external customers
- Have listening skills and ability to retain and memorize data
- Have track record for applying continuous improvement tools and methodologies such as lean manufacturing, six-sigma principles, (ACE), etc
- Have problem solving and decision-making skills
- Able to exercise independent judgment and recognize critical financial impacts to the business
- Able to meet all safety and health requirements

Preferred:

- 3+ years of experience in aircraft maintenance or related field work.
- Experience in a certified FAA repair station environment/facility.
- ISO9001 and/or AS9100 experience.
- Aviation experience in the military or commercial aerospace industries.
- Able to use most MS products include Excel and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of correct materials and tooling to perform standard work resulting in zero defects.
- Have familiarity with manufacturing environment software such as ERP, MRP, or SAP.
- Experience in performing crimp and solder connections, and has knowledge of tools and dies

Desired skills
- AA/AS degree w/1–3+ years of experience
- BA/BS degree w/0–2+ years of experience
