  • Co-design the firmware specifications
  • Implement specific audio codecs

The candidate will work in close collaboration with scientists of the Spatial Awareness and Multisensory Perception lab and engineers of the Electronic Design Lab.

Requirements

Experience with audio codecs (lossless and lossy, MPEG audio, ITU standards) will be a plus.

The research activities will mainly take place at IIT in Genoa, in the new laboratories at the Center for Human Technologies.

An internationally competitive salary, dependent on experience, will be offered.

Interested applicants should submit CV, list of publications, names of 2 referees and a statement of research interest to jobpost.74940@iit.it by February 22, 2018, stating " Fellow position - Hardware developer for sensory assistive technologies- CB:74940 ” in the subject of the e-mail.
