Job Details

Trevecca is seeking a full-time tenure-track faculty member in Electrical/Computer Engineering. Faculty in the department of science and mathematics are committed to rigorous academics, high-quality undergraduate research, and holistic education in a distinctly Christian environment. In collaboration with our faculty, the candidate will be instrumental in developing an ABET-accredited electrical/computer engineering program. Additional responsibilities include teaching a broad range of courses in engineering, teaching general-education courses, advising, and serving on university committees. The position will begin August 15, 2018.


The successful candidate will demonstrate teaching excellence, passion for mentoring undergraduate students through innovative engineering projects, broad knowledge of engineering principles and practices, and a strong commitment to the mission of the university.  A Ph.D. in electrical or computer engineering is preferred, but candidates holding a master’s degree will be considered.
